Hamilton
The County seat and largest town in the Valley is Hamilton, located about 40 minutes south of Missoula. The town features a charming walkabout downtown, eclectic restaurants, a micro-brewery, and grocery stores. The area has some extremely nice health clubs, public and private golf courses, and a new events center for Bluegrass festivals, Art Shows, and Darby Logger Days. Hiking, fly fishing, skiing at Lost Trail Pass, and the slow western pace of the area define the lifestyle in the Bitterroot Valley.
