Joe received his Bachelor's from the University of Puget Sound and did his graduate work at the University of Montana where he was employed as a football coach for five years. Joe enjoys fly fishing, and mountain biking. Joe has been involved with fundraising for the University of Montana. He and his wife have two daughters, Rachel and Anne. His wife Lisa is a pharmacist.
