Kathy is originally from Tennessee. While vacationing in Montana in the early 1980's, she fell in love with all Montana has to offer. Although she continued her career as a high school history instructor, the grandeur of the West drew her back every year. She and her husband explored and studied most of the state, before choosing the Madison Valley to call home. She fulfilled her American Dream in 1995 by buying land and building a home near Ennis.
Kathy, her husband, and their three dogs enjoy the beauty, clean air, elbow room, recreational opportunities, wildlife and friendly people in the Madison Valley. She often says,"It doesn't get any better than this."
